Reliance House | October Constriction Update

Since our last site visit, Reliance House has undergone huge progress with the conversion work now near completion. Below is a detailed overview of what stage each floor of the conversion is at.

Fourth floor – construction progress
- The stairwell and landing have been plastered, with light fittings installed.
- The corridors walls and ceilings have been decorated.
- Kitchen units, appliances and sinks have been installed in all apartments.
- Bathrooms are completed with heated mirrors finalised.
- Bedrooms are now ready for carpet and feature wall decoration.

Third floor – construction progress
- The stairwell and landing has recently been plastered and is still wet.
- Light fittings have been installed.
- Corridor walls have been plastered and ceilings have been decorated.
- Laminate flooring has been put down.
- Kitchen units are installed and awaiting on appliances and sink.
- Bathrooms are installed and waiting for a heated mirror.
- Bedrooms have been decorated and ready for the feature wall.

Second floor – construction progress
- Stairwell, landing and corridors have been boarded ready to be plastered.
- The decoration on walls and ceilings have are underway.
- Internal doors fitted.
- Kitchen units have been installed ready for worktops, appliances and sinks.
- Bathrooms have been fully tiled.

First floor – construction progress
- Stairwell, landing and corridors have been boarded ready to be plastered.
- Decoration on first floor furnishes are underway.
- Kitchen units have been loaded and ready for installation.
- Bedrooms have been decorated and waiting for the feature wall and first fix of electrics.
- Bathrooms have been fully tiled.

Ground floor – construction progress
- Entrance lobby is underway.
- Corridor partition walls have been formed, insulated and ready for plaster boarding.
- First fix of electrics, heating and pluming is completed.

Construction is approximately 4 weeks behind, due to delays with installing the hoist to remove materials, complications taking up suspended floors, investigations required to existing steel columns and providing strengthening support. Work has now started on the extension above the building.
