Orme House | April Construction Update

Orme House is a completed purpose-built student accommodation perfectly located in Newcastle-Under-Lyme town centre. Comprising of 102 contemporary studios and two-bedroom apartments across two phases.

Below is a build update for Aprils’ construction on Orme House.

Phase One

• All rooms are now fully boarded out and wired up, the ceilings are in and air vent system in place. The rooms are ready to be painted.
• The windows have now been painted internally; this is in anticipation of the secondary glazing works to happen.
• The main hall remedial works are completed, the partitioning has now begun and sound proof floors being laid.

Phase Two

• All external brick work has now been completed and Velux roof lights have been added to the completed roof.
• Boarding out and insulation of phase 2 is almost complete on all floors, windows almost ready to be installed to which then the internal rooms of phase 2 can progress further again.
